Summary
CVE-2023-5160 refers to a vulnerability in Mattermost, an open-source team collaboration platform. Despite having the "Show Full Name" option disabled at the /api/v4/teams/TEAM_ID/top/team_members endpoint, the platform fails to implement proper checks. Consequently, a member can still access the full name of another user, potentially leading to privacy concerns or other malicious activities. This issue may expose sensitive information and undermine security measures within the affected Mattermost environment.
