Summary
CVE-2023-51379 is an authorization vulnerability discovered in GitHub Enterprise Server that allows improperly scoped tokens to update issue comments. While it does not grant unauthorized access to repository content, it requires both contents:write and issues:read permissions. This issue affected all versions of GitHub Enterprise Server starting from 3.7 and was resolved in versions 3.17.19, 3.8.12, 3.9.7, 3.10.4, and 3.11.1.
