Summary
CVE-2023-50984 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting Tenda i29 v1.0 V1.0.0.5. The issue lies in the spdtstConfigAndStart function, which contains a buffer overflow vulnerability. An attacker can exploit this flaw by sending specially crafted data through the ip parameter, resulting in an overflow condition. This may lead to arbitrary code execution or system crashes, potentially enabling unauthorized access or denial-of-service attacks.
