Summary
CVE-2023-5 Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability was discovered in JetBrains TeamCity prior to version 2023.11.1. An attacker could exploit this issue by crafting a malicious request to force an authenticated user to perform unintended actions, such as changing their password or granting administrative privileges, during their login session. The flaw could be potentially exploited through a specially crafted link sent via email or displayed on a compromised website. TeamCity urges users to update to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
