Summary
CVE-2023-50764 is a vulnerability affecting the Jenkins Scriptler Plugin version 342.v6a_89fd40f466 and earlier. The issue lies in the plugin's HTTP endpoint, which fails to restrict file name query parameters. This flaw enables attackers with Scriptler/Configure permissions to delete arbitrary files on the Jenkins controller's file system, potentially leading to significant data loss or system compromise.
