Summary

CVE-2023-5072 is a Denial of Service vulnerability in JSON-Java versions up to and including 20230618. The vulnerability allows an attacker to exploit a bug in the parser, causing indefinite memory usage with just a modest-sized input string. This vulnerability affects various products including qLMEsy, qLMEsz, tyi2Cp, tyi2Cq, qLMEsw, qLMEsx, qLMEsq, qLMEsr, qLMEso, qLMEsp, qLMEsu, qLMEsv, qLMEss, qLMEst, qLMEsm, qLMEsn, and qLMEsk. The potential danger is high as it can lead to a denial of service attack where an attacker can overload the system's memory resources and potentially disrupt its availability.
