CVE-2023-50441 is a vulnerability that affects encrypted folders created by PRIMX ZONECENTRAL for Windows before Q.2021.2 or ZONECENTRAL for Windows before 2023.5. An unauthenticated attacker can modify these folders to include a UNC reference, which could trigger outbound network traffic from computers where the folders are opened. The vulnerability has a base severity of MEDIUM and a base score of 5.5, with a confidentiality impact rated as HIGH. The exploitability score is 1.8, and user interaction is required for exploitation. The vulnerability has a low attack complexity and does not impact integrity or availability.
