Summary
CVE-2023-50251 is a vulnerability affecting the php-svg-lib library before version 0.5.1. This issue arises when the library encounters an infinite recursion while processing attributes in a `use` tag within an SVG document. An attacker can exploit this flaw by sending specially crafted SVG files, causing the system to exhaust memory resources. Consequently, the server may become unresponsive to incoming requests. Version 0.5.1 includes a patch that addresses this vulnerability.
