Summary
CVE-2023-5008 is a newly identified SQL Injection vulnerability affecting Student Information System version 1.0. An attacker can exploit this unauthenticated vulnerability by targeting the 'regno' parameter on the index.php page. Successful exploitation grants the attacker unrestricted access to the database, enabling them to dump all its contents and bypass the login control. This vulnerability poses a significant risk, as it allows attackers to gain complete system access without requiring any credentials.
