Summary

CVE-2023-5005 is a vulnerability in the Autocomplete Location field Contact Form 7 WordPress plugin before version 3.0, and the autocomplete-location-field-contact-form-7-pro WordPress plugin before version 2.0. The vulnerability allows high privilege users, such as administrators, to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks even when the unfiltered_html capability is disallowed. This vulnerability poses a medium risk to organizations as it could allow an attacker to inject malicious code into web pages viewed by users, potentially leading to further exploitation or data theft.
