Summary
CVE-2023-5017 exposes a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in Dreamer CMS version 4.1.3. An attacker can exploit this issue by manipulating a user into visiting a malicious website, which in turn could allow the attacker to perform unintended actions on the victim's Dreamer CMS account. The vulnerability is located within the /admin/database/backup component. Successful exploitation could lead to data modification or even complete system takeover. Users are strongly advised to update their Dreamer CMS installation to a patched version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
