Summary

CVE-2023-49854 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability that affects the Tribe Interactive Caddy – Smart Side Cart plugin for WooCommerce. This issue allows an attacker to trick a user into making unintended actions on a web application, by manipulating their browser into making a request on their behalf. The vulnerability can be exploited by an attacker to modify or access sensitive information, or even perform unauthorized actions, such as making a purchase or changing settings. The Caddy – Smart Side Cart plugin for WooCommerce, from any version up to and including 1.9.7, is reportedly impacted by this issue. Users are advised to update their plugins to the latest version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
