Summary

CVE-2023-4979 is a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the librenms GitHub repository before version 23.9.0. This issue allows an attacker to inject malicious scripts into web pages viewed by other users, potentially stealing sensitive information or gaining unauthorized access. Successful exploitation occurs when a user visits a specially crafted URL containing the malicious code. Users are advised to update their librenms installation to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
