CVE-2023-49735 is a vulnerability that affects Apache Tiles from version 2 onwards. It occurs when the value set as the DefaultLocaleResolver.LOCALE_KEY attribute on the session is not validated while resolving XML definition files, potentially leading to path traversal and SSRF/XXE attacks when user-controlled data is passed to this key.
