Summary
CVE-2023-4970 is a vulnerability affecting the PubyDoc WordPress plugin before version 2.0.7. This issue permits Cross-Site Scripting attacks, allowing high privilege users, including admins, to inject malicious scripts even when the unfiltered_html setting is disabled. The plugin fails to sanitize and escape certain settings, providing an attack vector for exploitation. WordPress users are advised to update to the latest version of the PubyDoc plugin to mitigate this risk.
