Summary
CVE-2023-4960 is a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the WCFM Marketplace plugin for WordPress. The issue lies in the 'wcfm_stores' shortcode, which allows user-supplied attributes to be input without proper sanitization and output escaping. This flaw permits authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject malicious web scripts. Successful exploitation results in the execution of these scripts whenever a user visits an injected page.
