Summary
CVE-2023-49485 is a newly discovered cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the JFinalCMS version 5.0.0. This issue was identified in the column management department of the content management system. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by injecting malicious scripts into a website, which can then be executed in a user's web browser when they visit the affected page. Successful exploitation could result in unauthorized access to user data or session hijacking. Users are strongly advised to upgrade to the latest version of JFinalCMS to mitigate this risk.
