Summary
CVE-2023-4945 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Booster for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions up to 7.1.0, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts. The vulnerability arises due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes within multiple shortcodes. Successful exploitation of this flaw enables attackers to execute their malicious code whenever a user accesses an injected page.
