Summary
CVE-2023-49431 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting Tenda AX9 routers running V22.03.01.46 firmware. This issue permits an attacker to inject commands into the system via the 'mac' parameter in the '/goform/SetOnlineDevName' endpoint. Successful exploitation could lead to unauthorized access, data theft, or even complete router compromise. Users are advised to update their firmware as soon as a patch becomes available to mitigate this risk.
