Summary
CVE-2023-49405 refers to a stack overflow vulnerability affecting Tenda W30E routers running version V16.01.0.12(4843). This issue is caused by a flaw in the UploadCfg function, which can be exploited to crash the system and potentially execute arbitrary code. An attacker could manipulate a specially crafted file during the configuration upload process to trigger the vulnerability, leading to a denial-of-service or more severe consequences. Users are advised to update their devices to the latest stable firmware to mitigate this risk.
