CVE-2023-49355 is a vulnerability affecting the decToString function in decNumber/decNumber.c of the jq library. This issue permits a one-byte out-of-bounds write through the input " []-1.2e-1111111111". It is distinct from CVE-2023-50246, which involves a different input value in normalized scientific notation.
