Summary

CVE-2023-49337 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Concrete CMS versions before 9.2.3. In this issue, attackers can inject malicious scripts into the Admin Dashboard via the /dashboard/system/basics/name endpoint. This flaw poses a serious threat as it allows attackers to execute scripts in the context of the victim's browser. The vulnerability does not impact Concrete CMS versions 8.5 and earlier. System administrators should promptly update their Concrete CMS installations to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
