Summary
CVE-2023-49296 is a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Arduino Create Agent's web interface, specifically the `/certificate.crt` endpoint. Before version 1.3.6, the ArduinoCreateAgent mishandled custom error messages, enabling an attacker to inject malicious code through a malicious link. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to execute arbitrary browser client-side code on the victim's system. Version 1.3.6 includes a patch to remediate this vulnerability.
