Summary

CVE-2023-49281 is an Open Redirect vulnerability in the open-source calendaring application Calendarinho. This vulnerability allows the web application to redirect users to external URLs without proper validation, potentially leading to phishing attacks. Attackers can trick users into visiting malicious sites, resulting in information theft and reputational damage. The issue has been patched in commit `15b2393`, and users are advised to update their Calendarinho version to a commit after `15b2393`. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. The National Vulnerability Database (NVD) rates the severity of this vulnerability as MEDIUM, with a base score of 6.1 out of 10.
