Summary
CVE-2023-49149 is a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Currency Converter Calculator of CurrencyRate.Today. This issue allows an attacker to inject malicious scripts into web pages viewed by other users, potentially stealing sensitive information or taking control of their browsing sessions. The flaw is located in the input neutralization process during web page generation and impacts all versions of the Currency Converter Calculator from n/a through 1.3.1. It is recommended that users upgrade to a patched version as soon as possible to mitigate the risk of an XSS attack.
