Summary
CVE-2023-49078 is a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting version 0.4.4 of the raptor-web Content Management System (CMS). This CMS is used by game server communities to host information and manage players. The issue lies in the loading of a user-controlled URL parameter into an internal template, which has autoescape disabled. This XSS vulnerability puts all deployments of raptor-web version 0.4.4 at risk, as any victim who clicks on a maliciously crafted link will be impacted. The vulnerability has been patched in version 0.4.4.1.
