Summary

CVE-2023-4887 is a vulnerability affecting the Google Maps Plugin by Intergeo for WordPress plugin in versions up to 2.3.2. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, leading to Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks. The vulnerability is caused by insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. Organizations can remediate this vulnerability by updating the plugin to a version beyond 2.3.2.
