Summary
CVE-2023-48746 is a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Community by PeepSo – Social Network, Membership, Registration, User Profiles plugin. This issue arises due to improper neutralization of user inputs during web page generation. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to inject malicious scripts into a webpage viewed by other users, potentially stealing sensitive data or taking control of their sessions. The affected versions of the plugin range from not available to 6.2.6.0. Users are strongly advised to update to a patched version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
