Summary

CVE-2023-48700 is a vulnerability in the Nautobot Device Onboarding plugin. Versions prior to 3.0.0 of the plugin allow credentials provided to onboarding tasks to be visible via Job Results. This can expose clear text credentials in the database entries. To remediate this vulnerability, it is recommended to delete all Job Results for any onboarding task, upgrade to version 3.0.0 of the plugin, and rotate any exposed credentials. The potential danger posed by this vulnerability is high confidentiality impact, as sensitive information can be accessed by unauthorized individuals.
