Summary

CVE-2023-48692 is a memory overflow vulnerability in Azure RTOS NetX Duo, a TCP/IP network stack designed for real-time and IoT applications. The vulnerability allows remote code execution and affects processes/functions related to icmp, tcp, snmp, dhcp, nat, and ftp in RTOS v6.2.1 and below. To remediate the issue, users are advised to upgrade to NetX Duo release 6.3.0. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
