Summary

The vulnerability with the CVE ID CVE-2023-48572 affects Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.18 and earlier. It is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that allows a low-privileged attacker to inject malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields. When a victim visits the page with the vulnerable field, the injected JavaScript can be executed in their browser. The potential danger to an organization is that this vulnerability can be exploited to perform unauthorized actions or steal sensitive information. To remediate this vulnerability, users should upgrade to a patched version of Adobe Experience Manager.
