Summary

CVE-2023-48542 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.18 and below. This issue allows low-privileged attackers to inject malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields. If a user visits a page with a compromised form, they may unknowingly execute the malicious JavaScript in their browser. This vulnerability poses a significant risk, as it could lead to data theft, session hijacking, or the installation of malware. Users are strongly encouraged to update their Adobe Experience Manager installations as soon as possible to mitigate this threat.
