Summary

CVE-2023-48517 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that affects Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.18 and earlier. This vulnerability allows a low-privileged attacker to inject malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields, potentially leading to the execution of malicious JavaScript in a victim's browser when they browse to the page containing the vulnerable field. The affected products include YLUd9f, YLUd9e, YLUd9d, YLUd9c, YLUd9b, YLUd9a, YLUd9Z, RSDnYR, eNAlAl, and many others. To remediate this vulnerability, organizations should update to the latest version of Adobe Experience Manager. The potential danger of this vulnerability is that it could allow an attacker to steal sensitive information or perform unauthorized actions on behalf of the user.
