Summary

CVE-2023-48509 is a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.18 and below. This issue is DOM-based, meaning it can be exploited when a user visits a specially crafted URL. If successful, an attacker can inject malicious JavaScript code into the victim's browser, potentially leading to unauthorized access or data theft. Low-privileged attackers can take advantage of this vulnerability to execute their malicious scripts within the context of the victim's session.
