Summary
CVE-2023-48499 is a recently disclosed Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that affects Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.18 and older. This issue allows a low-privileged attacker to execute malicious JavaScript code in a victim's browser if they can persuade the victim to visit a specially crafted URL linked to a vulnerable page. Such an attack could potentially lead to session hijacking, data theft, or other malicious activities. Users are strongly advised to update their Adobe Experience Manager installations as soon as possible to mitigate the risk of this vulnerability.
