Summary

CVE-2023-48468 is a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.18 and older. This issue is DOM-based, meaning it exploits weaknesses in the handling of user-supplied data within the browser. An attacker who successfully convinces a user to visit a maliciously crafted URL can inject malicious JavaScript code, executing it within the victim's browser context. This may lead to data theft, session hijacking, or other unauthorized actions. Users are strongly advised to update their Adobe Experience Manager installations to the latest patches to mitigate this risk.
