Summary
CVE-2023-48455 is a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that affects Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.18 and earlier. The vulnerability allows a low-privileged attacker to execute malicious JavaScript within the victim's browser by convincing them to visit a URL referencing a vulnerable page. To remediate this vulnerability, organizations using affected versions of Adobe Experience Manager should update to version 6.5.19 or later, which addresses the XSS vulnerability. This vulnerability poses a medium-level danger to organizations as it can enable attackers to inject and execute malicious code, potentially compromising the confidentiality and integrity of user data on affected systems.
