Summary
CVE-2023-48421 is a vulnerability affecting the gpu_pixel_handle_buffer_liveness_update_ioctl function in the file pixel_gpu_slc.c of the private/google-modules/gpu/mali_kbase/platform/pixel directory. This issue involves an out-of-bounds write caused by insufficient input validation. An attacker can exploit this flaw to achieve local privilege escalation without requiring any additional execution privileges or user interaction.
