Summary

CVE-2023-48392 is a vulnerability found in Kaifa Technology WebITR, an online attendance system. The vulnerability arises from the use of a hard-coded encryption key, allowing an unauthenticated remote attacker to generate a valid token parameter and exploit the system. This allows the attacker to gain access to the system with any user account, including those with administrator privileges, and execute actions within those accounts. The potential danger this vulnerability poses to an organization is significant, as it allows unauthorized access and potential data breaches.
