Summary
CVE-2023-48328 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the WordPress Gallery Plugin – NextGEN Gallery. This issue enables malicious actors to execute unintended actions on affected WordPress websites. Specifically, an attacker can craft a specially crafted request that, when performed by an unsuspecting user, results in the execution of unauthorized commands. Affected versions of the plugin range from not available to 3.37. It is crucial for WordPress users to update their plugins to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
