Summary

CVE-2023-48304 is a vulnerability found in Nextcloud Server and Nextcloud Enterprise Server. Specifically, versions 25.0.0 to 25.0.11, 26.0.6, and 27.1.0 of Nextcloud Server, as well as versions 22.0.0 to 22.2.10.16, 23.0.12.11, 24.0.12.7, 25.0.11, 26.0.6, and 27.1 of Nextcloud Enterprise Server are affected by this vulnerability which allows an attacker to enable and disable the birthday calendar for any user on the same server without authorization or permission. The danger this poses to organizations is that an attacker could potentially manipulate user calendars and disrupt their operations. Patches have been released for Nextcloud Server versions 25.x.x and above, as well as for Nextcloud Enterprise Server versions 22.x.x and above to address this vulnerability. No known workarounds are available at this time. The CVE ID for this vulnerability is CVE-2023-48304 and it has a CVSS base score of 4.3 indicating a medium severity level.
