Summary
CVE-2023-48291 is a security vulnerability affecting Apache Airflow versions prior to 2.8.0. This issue allows authenticated users with limited access to certain DAGs to manipulate requests, potentially gaining write access to resources for DAGs they shouldn't have access to. In essence, this vulnerability enables users to clear unauthorized DAGs, posing a significant risk. This is a known issue that was not addressed in Apache Airflow 2.7.2, and users are urged to upgrade to version 2.8.0 or later to protect against this threat.
