Summary

CVE-2023-48227 is a vulnerability affecting the Umbraco ASP.NET content management system (CMS). The vulnerability exists in versions 8.0.0 and prior to versions 8.18.10, 10.7.0, and 12.3.0, allowing Backoffice users with send for approval permission but not publish permission to potentially publish in certain scenarios. To remediate this issue, users should update their Umbraco installations to versions 8.18.10, 10.7.0, or 12.3.0 which contain a patch for the vulnerability.
