Summary

CVE-2023-48219 is a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability found in TinyMCE, an open-source rich text editor. The vulnerability exists in the core undo/redo functionality and other APIs and plugins, allowing for the creation of malicious snippets that can trigger XSS attacks. Text nodes within specific parents are not properly escaped according to HTML standards, making them susceptible to exploitation.
