Summary

CVE-2023-4820 is a vulnerability affecting the PowerPress Podcasting plugin by Blubrry, used in WordPress sites. Before version 11.0.12, this plugin fails to sanitize and escape the media url field in posts. This issue permits contributors, with relatively low privileges, to inject arbitrary web scripts into a site. An attacker could potentially exploit this vulnerability to target site administrators or superadmins, posing a significant security risk.
