Summary

CVE-2023-4820 is a vulnerability affecting the PowerPress Podcasting plugin by Blubrry WordPress plugin before version 11.0.12. This vulnerability allows users with privileges as low as contributor to inject arbitrary web scripts via the media URL field in posts. The affected products include various versions of the PowerPress Podcasting plugin. To remediate this vulnerability, it is recommended to update the plugin to version 11.0.12 or later. The potential danger posed by this vulnerability is that it could allow attackers to target site admins or superadmins and potentially execute malicious code on the affected website.
