Summary
CVE-2023-47798 is a vulnerability affecting Liferay Portal versions 7.2.0 through 7.3.0, and older unsupported editions, as well as Liferay DXP versions 7.2 before fix pack 5, and older unsupported versions. This issue enables remote authenticated users to stay logged in even after their accounts have been locked. Consequently, attackers can exploit this vulnerability to gain unauthorized access to the system and perform unintended actions. To mitigate the risk, it is recommended that affected organizations update their Liferay installations to the latest supported versions as soon as possible.
