Summary
CVE-2023-4775 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Advanced iFrame plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions up to and including 2023.8, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts. The vulnerability stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes found in the 'advanced_iframe' shortcode. Consequently, injected pages will execute whenever a user accesses them, posing a significant security risk.
