Summary

CVE-2023-47635 is a vulnerability that affects the Decidim participatory democracy framework. Versions 0.23.0 and earlier, up to versions 0.27.5 and 0.28.0, have a disabled CSRF authenticity token check for the questionnaire templates preview. While this issue does not pose a serious security threat on its own, attackers who have access to the session cookie could potentially gain unauthorized access to non-public information. The vulnerability has been fixed in versions 0.27.5 and 0.28.0 of Decidim. As a workaround, users can disable the templates functionality or remove all available templates to mitigate the risk of exploitation.
