Summary

CVE-2023-47623 is a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability in the login page of Scrypted, a home video integration and automation platform. This vulnerability affects versions 0.55.0 and earlier, and it can be exploited by specifying a URL with the "javascript:" scheme in the `redirect_uri` parameter. This allows an attacker to execute arbitrary JavaScript code after the login process. As of now, there are no known patches available to remediate this vulnerability. The potential danger it poses to organizations is moderate, with a base severity rating of MEDIUM and low impact on integrity and confidentiality.
