Summary

CVE-2023-47623 is a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Scrypted, a home video integration and automation platform. Versions 0.55.0 and older of the software are susceptible to this issue. The login page is the point of entry, where an attacker can exploit the flaw by manipulating the `redirect_uri` parameter with a URL containing the javascript scheme (`javascript:`). Successful exploitation allows an attacker to execute arbitrary JavaScript code post-login, potentially leading to unauthorized account access or data theft.
