Summary
CVE-2023-47541 is a critical vulnerability affecting Fortinet FortiSandbox versions 4.4.0 through 4.4.2, 4.2.0 through 4.2.6, and various other older releases. This issue stems from an inadequate restriction of file paths, enabling path traversal attacks. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by manipulating input to navigate outside the intended directory, potentially gaining unauthorized access to execute code or issue commands via the CLI.
